Over 50 New Hope volunteers showed up to serve dinner to the residents last Saturday at the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Shelter in Columbia, Md., led by Ninette & James Patrick.
Serving teams were rotated to give everyone a chance to serve, and while they were waiting their turn, the youth helped them re-organize the pantry, organize linen donations, and others prepped food for the upcoming week.
We left a lot of food that they assured us would be used in the coming week. The dining facilitator shared with a member that without our contribution, she would have been serving sandwiches that evening. Praise be to God.
THANK YOU NEW HOPE for all of the food donations and help that we were able to share with Grassroots that day. We look forward to a continued and growing relationship with this organization and its residents.
